This mobile called my elderly mother telling her that £4,000 and then £2,000 had gone out of her bank acount. Thankfully my mother realised it was a scam because she does not have a large amount of money in her bank account and immediately put the phone down on the caller.
My mobile blocked this number and said it was a spam number. I have not called it back just in case it is a spam number

Received a text message from this number allegedly about a delivery by EVRI - as I am expecting a delivery (from DHL) I precipitately clicked on the link which read; EVRI(UK10094786). It says this is Clearanswer, a marketing company and one of BTs partners.....comments from the general public seem to suggest otherwise. A very foreign voice suggested my BT contract was coming to an end. I don’t discuss new contracts with a cold caller. When I said it wasn’t due to be renegotiated she hung up...not the sort of thing a genuine person would do.

SCAM this number calls and tries to get you to sign up for medical emergency devices like pendants. They tell you different excuses for their call like you had a medical appointment and now qualify for a few pendant with a huge one off service fee on over £150 that y they then say is for 12 months service which isn't a one off payment. They all for your card or direct debit details and when you tell them you think it's a scam they hang up on you.

This is a suspected nuisance call. On picking up there was a recorded message asking for verification details. I immediately put the phone down. I have had a couple of calls from another Bridgend number in the last few weeks. 01656 723940 seems to belongs to a Mr Steven Walters of Dennis Place, Bryncethin, Bridgend. If so he needs to know it is illegal to call anyone who is TPS registered.
