I pressed him more, said his address was 24 Heather Ave, Lancashire, 208 001 Tried to get details out of me, I would not confirm anything. Told him I was registered with TPS and he should not be calling. He told me he s been getting away with these calls for years and TPS were useless. Seemed like a frightening "ransom" scam. Saying your being investigated for "Tax Fraud" and your going to be arrested if you don't hit "1" to reply back. I expect any reply incurs a massive phone fee charged to your bill connected to a premium number. No official entity would call you on an automated message in such a cold manner disregarding your mental and physical health conditions. Such as being suicidal or having a hart condition.
This number is calling me about 4x a day!!!!. It comes up as suspected scam so I've blocked it but they still keep trying.

They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable.
