cold call, answer but no one spoke. call centre sounds in background

A man called, asking to speak to me (so knew my mobile number and name) and said he was from some pensions advisor service. Same questions as previous calls, was I aware of recent pension changes in the law etc. I was a bit vague so he said he would pass me onto a senior advisor at which point I hung up.

This is a company based in Mumbai trading as Web to Wealth. Using all sorts of numbers. if you block any they call from, they just come up with a new one. here s how they get your details. they have registered with the whois who directory for web domains and every time someone buys a domain but does not buy privacy from whois who, they capture it and ring you like crazy, as if there is no tomorrow. Be careful don t disclose bank / credit account details. this is how they get your money even if you don t go

Furious! Company called Choices, asking me to take part in a pet survey. I had a few choice words to say, and the female caller called me a tosser for not wanting to give over my details for "security purposes

80 year old mother sold ??? No idea what, thought it was for boiler maintenance even though she already has this service with a legitimate company. gave card details but by time she cancelled her card at bank £199.99 had been debited. Bank has said the name of company taking the money was called smart service.

This number when answer is Green Peace trying to get donations, they call my phone twice a day everyday!! I am happy to donate to chosen charities, but when they harass me!

Missed call - Oddly enough, I am Greek and this is an international call.

I keep an eye on my credit rating and am debt free. I have received unsolicited calls and texts. Called the number in the texts and asked to call this one - which I didnt. I have not given my name or address to anyone. I find this very fishy. They are a debt collection agency, so have the ability to access my address. After seeking advise, I will wait for them to send me some mail, addressed to me that outlines the reason for their communication.
