I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. I ve had that many calls from this number recently it s getting me down. The callers are MKRR a debt collection company but they have no legal right to be ringing and pestering the public. I am wary of answering my phone to any unknown numbers and thank god for caller display! They keep mithering by post as well but I ve been advised to ignore them.

Cold caller who called our TPS registered line, asking to speak to a named member of staff. Claimed to be Ewan from Connect (n.b. *not* BT Connect, just Connect ) and said he would be in our local area tomorrow, but then named a town over 20 miles away. Said he wished to discuss our upcoming assessment and proceeded to try to talk about saving money on your phone bill and broadband at which point we said we weren t interested and hung up.
