Just had a call saying IP address showed up on his wifi. Prank call.

prerecorded US Voice, threatening dire consequences if I, or my solicitor don t call back.Actually quite sinister - and of course this is Cambridge, Massachussets.....

I recieve calls on a daily basis from this number regarding payment protection insurance. seems to be automated since the previous call come from a different 0844 number. Odd.

You should record the conversaion and then tell them their voice will be uploaded to the internet for identification. Called my elderly grandad just now (isn?t the first time). He couldn?t understand him so passed the phone to me. An Indian man calling from ?Remote Security? and enquiring about a ?computer or laptop in your house? I told him we didn?t have either and he carried on trying to talk, so I repeated that we didn?t have either and to not call again and he hung up.
