Called me twice in last 2 days. When I answer they hang up.......damn nuisance when im busy!!

SCAM. Beware of this caller ID, the scammer knows your name and will try to hook you into a false sense of security. Hang up or tell him to F*** OFF!

ppi claims

Scam call, says “hiya” and then “are you there” to get you to say yes. They are recording your voice.

Just an unknown number to me so I didn't answer.

Wondered who had tried to call me!

As above the caller said they were from HMRC , This is your last chance, serious consequences , ring back immediately, if not legal proceedings will commence.

They harrass you to take a loan out with them

Second call received from this number. The first time they hung up as soon as I answered. The second time, I answered it, the bloke said that they were from "Consumer Helpline ", and "ringing about any finance [I d] taken out in the past ten years and any miss-sold PPI ", as soon as he heard me say that it was an "unsolicited call", and that "I m ex directory", the bloke hung up! I dialled 1471, and the above number appeared. When I tried several times to ring them back, I ve got a computerised message

trying to tell me they can do better with my money than the broker I currently use. Very persistent.

Receiving up three calls a day from this No when answered they ring off. This is now very annoying.

This number rings me twice a day on my mobile, I have blocked it but the ring on another 0845 number

Just had this number call (Liverpool code, with non-geographical sub-code 808) - but I never pick up the phone. Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will now be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. This explains the silent treatment from any real person (low-lifeform) at the other end. Let the phone ring until the other end gets fed up and ends the call, then dial 1471 and note down the number. Google it to see what scum has tried

I couldn t understand much of what they were trying to say, on the 3 calls. Line with lots of cuts, so I didn t felt much comfortable with the call looking as some sort of scheme.
