This call suggested that I had won an iPad Pro (having not entered any such competitions), and apparently is an attempt to get you to call back to their premium number. This was on a TPS registered number and is an obvious and widely reported scammer number.

Caller launched straight into his sales script - something about energy efficiency double glazing, so I hung up. He called straight back so I hung up again without speaking. Called back third time so I told him politely that we do not accept unsolicited calls & my number is registered with TPS . Therefore he should not be calling, and please don’t call again. He wasn’t listening but continued with his script regardless whilst I was talking. Then told me to “Shut my F*****g mouth up” And hung up.

I had a call from a very polite man called John , he represented Honest Johns Roofing and Tiling. The lead off the roof of our church had been stolen, and had water pouring in constantly . He offered to re roof our church for ?13000, which i thought was reasonable , as we had ,had quotes in excess of ?40,000. Number called twice, purporting to be from Caernarfon. Hangs up on answering. In my experience this is an auto-dial check to make sure that a real person answers the number.
