Call from Amazon. Told to go online and check emails because somebody was taking £700 from my account. I said no and rang off. Called again wanting to know why I rang off and to get on the computer. I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. I said OK go ahead.Told to be sure as call recorded. 'Good I replied, then you are also recorded. They rang off.

Two text messages from this number: 1) Saturday 28th January 2023 advising that Apple Pay temporarily suspended due to unusual activity and link provided to renew wallet. 2) Sunday 29th January advising that unusual activity occurred on at 4:34 AM and temporary suspension and same link provided. Suspected automated scam phone call. Claiming to be Amazon confirming purchase of Iphone 13 on my account. Says if you didn't order stay on the line no doubt you get though to someone asking for account/bank details. I just ended call and blocked. My Amazon account does not have this order on it so all okay.
