I had a call from this number today, i answered the phone but no one spoke and they hung up. I tried to ring the number but all i get is Access denied. I have call saint installed so this number will go onto my block list. A wonderful bit of tech is call saint will block your unwanted numbers, i must have block at least 30 number by now. I do not get may unwanted calls any more, just the odd one now and then. But then i just block them as well.

Actually had a voicemail lasting over a minute !!! A very camp guy talking about sharing his water at football!!?? Obviously panic set in when he realised mid conversation that it was been picked up on my voicemail!!! Very amusing!! I just don t see what these companies are trying to achieve buy calling and hanging up? Is it to see if the numbers are live? There must be an easier way for that?? Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8436563xxx range (I use the app from these pages, no problems)... People did someone answer this number?
Told me they were calling as id applied for a loan which had been declined. I haven t applied for any loasns and she kept insisting I had but said she couldn t tell me where id applied due to confidentiality. In the process of buying a house and the only loan id applied for was a mortgage which is already in place so very disconcerting. When I tried to question her she tried to end the call. Clearly a scam.

The message claimed to be from NatWest asking me to call which I did. I was asked to hold for a good 5 minutes. I was asked for account number and sort code but not for any card details. They said they did not know why I had received the message. When I rang NatWest fraud number they said that this is NOT a genuine NatWest number. Nothing untoward appears to have happened on my account. I await my phone bill!
