A woman rang saying home insurance scam

SCAM Automated voice saying they were HMRC phoning to advise that I was the subject of some fraudulent activity and advised me to press 1. They said that if I didn't press 1 and did not get connected, the Police would come to arrest me immediately.
0161 265 0139 as soon as i seen this number i knew it was from some sort of call centre so never bothered to answer. This number has called my mobile on 5-6 times within a week....

I received a call from this number this morning. The caller had my name. When I asked who was calling, the man stated that it was Direct Claims Group regarding the minor accident I'd had. I replied that 'You must mean the minor accident that I haven't had!' and told him to get off the line. When I checked Companies House records, there were two companies called 'Direct Claims Group'. One was dissolved in 2018 and the other in 2019. So the call was definitely annoying and probably suspicious.
