This showed up on my phone as an international call. “000390182594031” It was extremely hard to understand the lady speaking but I think she was from Italy. She seemed to be doing market research as she kept asking questions about Italian food and if I liked it. As with unsolicited calls I hung up. Immediately my phone rang again, this time unavailable. When I answered it I realised it was the same caller. She actually rang back 3 times. I let the answer machine take the calls. Eventually she took the hint
Fraud. A recorded voice says the call is from HMRC and that they have a legal case against you; you need to press 1 to talk to an agent and set up payment.
