Received call, recorded message, pertaining to be HMRC asking me to press a number to talk to them about incorrect tax return. I believe this to be fraudulent and that HMRC would not make contact in this manner.

Called today 21.07.23, Indian sounding call centre claimed they could save me 30% of my O2 bill, I am not with O2, and when I asked where they found my number they said it was from a generated call list. My phone has the function of bringing up the business name when a call comes through, so when I proceeded to tell the caller that the actual call seemed to be coming from Gibb & Evans, he became a little confused! I have been telephoned this afternoon – apparently by EE – to tell me that I was getting a 45% discount on my bill for the next year? I was then passed on to a supervisor to confirm my email address – which I did. They then said that they would email me and I would need to change the password to EEdefault19: at this point I told the caller I would hang-up.
Not really sure who this was from didn't recognize number. Now blocked.

Came up on my Vodafone as suspected scam so I didn't answer it! I run a business & it's really hard to tell nowadays business calls from scams. They seem to have so many personal details (& I'm as careful as I can be)!!!
I saw call but no ring tone. When I picked up they hung up. Sounds suspect to me.
Said they were from Vodafone promotions department. I hung up - it may be a scam.
