Scam call trying to get you to "Press 1" to connect to some "government tax fraud" line - typical scamming scumbag bullshit, hopefully they will get corona and fucking rot.
Foreign woman called at 1.55pm claiming to be from TalkTalk's Technical Team and told me they were going to disconnect my internet if I didn't make a payment. I have been with TalkTalk for ten years and have never missed my monthly Direct Debit so I knew this was one of the scams I'd heard about and immediately hung up and blocked the number through my call rejection service.
Ambulance chasers - call re an alleged accident I had in past two years. Must have been a bad one as I've excised it from my memory!

Caller stated his name was Andrew Almond calling from the Computer Maint Dept of Global IP Solutions. Was going to launch into scam about my computer sending error messages and had a fix for me to download. This scam is a virus download that requires a payment to eradicate.
