Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! Man with Asian accent said he was calling from Virgin Media about my internet connection. He said they were having some problems which are affecting my internet connection but the call then disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never once phoned me when there's been problems in the past. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet connection and I'm convinced that this was a scam call so I'm rating as dangerous.

SCAM, York number pretending to be bank security and asking you to press 1 to go to customer service, I got exactly the same message from a Norway number about an hour and a half later, message immertates bt text but comes up as a number. Do not pick up, Norway number was 004721956764

SCAM: 07480720014 is the 3rd number today, rings only a short ring then stops before you can answer, on ringback you are put on the identical hold music without ringing. Blocked all 3 numbers. Other two are: 07480720406 and 07480721769
