Just annoying attempt togain control of home computer as previous poster detailed. Purported microsoft engineer calls to victims home with all information of target (address tele#) saying hacker trying to acccess your PC and then directs individual to website for downloading software whose purpose is to allow caller remote control of home PC. Oh the irony!

It is a claim call. You call back the automated service says "claim tea, we will call you back." Nope, i blocked the number.
This is a really great computer training company; they come to your house, and help you with anything you need help learning how to use, and also how to find out how to use something yourself. Really great and I will use them again, Adam is the best trainer, he has a computer Sciences degree so he knew his stuff, he had such a good way of describing it to me, and once I got it, everything started falling into place. 10/10 and highly recommended. called alot so i answered a few times without speaking and they hung up immediately. Then i answered and went along with "the nice man from Microsoft" who wanted to "fix" my computer. When i got to a step that would do something to my computer i told him i thought he was a fake and a terrible person for sucking people in and he got really angry and went off! These people are scum for hoaxing people who don t know computers, particularly elderly folk.
They have a web site that is just crying out for comment and review. The TPS route does not work maybe the web reviews will.

SCAM man calling himself Ryan said he was from Virgin Media, asking about my internet connection. Sadly I get scam callers daily, I can tell if it's going to be a proper business call or a scammer by the amount of time it takes to connect, if it takes some time then I know its connecting to a scam call centre on the Indian continent, I can predict they will have an Indian accent and an English Christian name.
