If you speak then the line is detected as 'an active voice line' and logged as such, a scammer will then be calling you later! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear a voice and then the line goes dead then congratulations - you have just successfully escaped being scammed! THESE CALLS ARE HARASSING AND ALWAYS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!

07812590245 this morning when I picked up it was silent, then they hang up. 01950306009 this number called yesterday, did the sam. Different numbers everyday do the same thing.
SCAM sounded like a genuine call from Virgin Media about internet problems. Said their server had been receiving errors from my hub. Suspicious when they started asking me what apps I ran on my phone. Even more suspicious when they wanted me to download remote control software so they 'could show me the problem ' Noticeable change in tone when I said I was an IT professional. Hung up the phone and called Virgin who confirmed they'd never ask someone to download software.

Man with strong Asian accent rang asking me to confirm who I was, I asked who was asking and how he had got my number. He told me that I had unresolved debts, which I challenged and said I didn t, I asked him where he had got my number from and he mentioned Debt Resolution Services. I told him that I didn t give my number out and I asked him for his company details at which point he hung up
Asked to speak to my mother who died 2 years ago, fed up of these cold calling morons.
I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! SCAM this phone number 02082679030 called me making out the are from virgin media saying my internet is not secure and they said there were other people logged on with me and they were going to show me how my internet was not secure but it is a scam because they would want to log onto my computer but I'm using windows 10 which doesn't allow for other people to log onto my computer so beware that this number is a scam.
They were from bt saying we had technical problem with computer told them we didn't have a computer phone went dead.
