Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. I do not know anyone in Edinburgh nor am I dealing with any company/organisation in Edinburgh! The caller did not leave a message which leaves me to think it was either. Scam or someone selling something. Either way, it was an unwanted phone call.

Beware, this is a scam intending to defraud you of money. It was an automated message, informing me that gambling.com had taken £1,100.00 from my bank and Amazon had taken £300.00. I was supposed to press 1 to authorise the Amazon payment. I put the phone down.

This number called me using a system generated voice purporting to be online security presumably, had I not put the phone down, to extort money. BEWARE
Automated woman's voice leaving message on answerphone saying that there have been 2 charges on credit card, £300 for Amazon and £1100 for another service. After investigation no such charges appeared. This is a unsolicited call and scam. Beware and block this number.

I live in Florida, US. Have never before received a SPAM hang up call from England until now. Nevertheless, it was an automated call and I have no friends in, or traveling to the UK.
