Heavily accented caller from outside the UK predictive diallers are banned here who could not pronounce my name They gave up on the call when I refused to speak English and they obviously didnt speak Gaelic
I do not know anyone or work with any business in Liverpool and the caller left no message so I am assuming tele-marketing or a scam. Either way it’s unwelcome and number now blocked.

Unknown number calling a TPS registered private number. It is one digit different from 01226666737, Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd calling with a driveway scam that has been pestering my home number recently and may be the same. As usual, no message was left on the answerphone, which is always suspicious! Now blocked.
Kate from "Driveway Centre" phone out of the blue. I asked her who she was & why she was phoning me. She sounded agitated & asked me how old is my driveway. I told her I didn't understand why she was phoning & where did she obtain my number. She said my number has been sold on a list. I then hung up.

Claims to be in reference to an accident that I had within the last three years. I told him that I hadn't had one and he asked if perhaps I'd had one as a passenger. When I told him again that I hadn't had any accidents and that I thought it was a scam call, he hung up.

07956 885146. Suspicious number. Junk mail call - UK. Just had an obviously fraudulent phishing call from this number, a lady with an Indian accent claiming to be from Microsoft and ringing "about the computer". She hung up on the second time that I asked what the call was about.

I'm not too certain about the caller, as he started off by saying both my Company name & personal name, & he'd obviously "done his homework" as when I asked him who was calling, he said the name of my provider. Unfortunately he spoke at the speed of sound, so when I asked, he said he'd speak slower, but then the line disconnected, so I didn't get to find out whether the caller was genuine or not. SCAM ambulance chasers that don't even know if there's been an ambulance! Get a call from them every few days, consistent script: "We're calling from the Legal Department of MAUK" (there is a website for mauk.uk but no listing in Companies House, and the directory for the building in Reading they claim to be in doesn't include any such entity). I keep reporting the calls to ICO and TPS. You'd think the imbeciles would give up - it's been going on for years.
