usual pakistani,muslim sounding scammer claiming to be from solicitors. for some reason he didnt take too kindly to the barrage of verbal abuse from me and eventually took the hint after calling back 5 times in rapid succession for more of the same treatment. sometimes its just nice to be able to unload your abuse at someone who cant complain about you. :)

Missed call

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.

This number has rung my elderly mother claiming that she has one £50,000 and all she needed to do was transfer £400 into an account. Instantly, we knew this was a fraud. Yet they were willing to send a taxi round to my disabled mother to take her to the bank to deposit this money. SCAM

Telemarketer, advertised himself as calling from IOMart. When I said I wasn t interested and hung up, he kept calling back for the next 10 minutes.
