Claimed to be from BT hacking dept. Said my connection was being used by a hacker and they would have to close down my line unless I let them install anti hacking software. During the process £1800 was stolen from my credit card and my laptop is unusable. BT says 01623744013 isn't a phone number.
SCAM -Amy, from Microsoft Corporation (yeah, right!), has been receiving reports that my computer has been hacked, gave me a 32 digit licence number (I thought it should be 25) and wanted to help me check it on the computer. When I refused to turn the computer on, she said that I would have to go to their HQ in Reading in the next 3 days, but when I asked how to contact her she hung up. Strange, that!
Called wanting to talk to me about an accident that wasn t my fault but didn t know my name - hung up when I asked what date this accident was supposed to have happened.

Just had call from Hannah Claim injury law 02036349839. She told me I had been in a car accident, I didn t confirm I had or hadn t & asked where she got her information, she said from road traffic department. She again asked me to confirm if I had. I asked what was name of person she was wanting to speak to to which she replied does anybody else at that address drive. I asked her name of company telling her I wanted it to report them, she gave me it again.

PPI Lead Gen (trading Name) based in Yorkshire. Someone needs to find out the limited company name so we can all sue them on moneyclaim.gov.uk for loss of work time. They do not honour the remove from list option when they call. If they dont stop calling people when they request not to I will make it my day job to find them and endure they pay dearly. I have received quite a few calls from this number. I decided to phone it back, and there was an automated computer voice (sounded a bit American) which said "I m sorry, an application error has occurred. Goodbye." Obviously a scam of some sort. I ve saved the number in my phone as Spam Caller , so I ll be sure not to answer it in future.
