SCAM: Fifth identical call today, once an hour, from different phone numbers (probably all spoofed) Automated female voice, claiming to be from BT Internet Dept, who have supposedly been trying to call me urgently, because of ‘suspicious activity’ on my account. I was called today 3 times and the caller said that they are a company to help get red off your debt. I told them no thank you and blocked their number.

SCAM: Automated voice is claiming to be a criminal investigation office, then probably connects you to a scammer.
Claimed to be from a life cover company. Had a name and a postal code. Was expecting someone else to answer the phone. Eventually when the finaly realised it was not the person they were asking for, They hung up.
No message left, called number back and all it says is "number is busy" and then hangs up.

This number called and asked for me by my first name. When I asked who was calling he hung up. I have blocked this number- definitely dodgy if he won’t say who he is and why he is calling.

picked up no answer, line open 5 seconds.
This number called me several times, but the call went silent. I called the number back (located in Shetlands) and I was put in to a queue which kept saying "Your call is important to us, please hold for the next available agent". After waiting for almost 4 minutes I hung up. This is probably another scam caller who has been banned from every other UK city so now they ve been forced to set up shop in the Shetlands. I ve now blocked the number.
