This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported (01244470043, 44,45), all the same range just with last digits different, which is a common thing - they use a range of similar numbers. They are reported with different scope, but mostly as PPI offers and pensions (financial services). I tried to call the number back but no luck, number not in service - probably one-way gateway of the call centre not allowing inbound calls so you are not able to call them back. Peopl

Claiming I have had an accident in last 2-3 years. When I asked where they got my info from they claimed a RTA record sheet. Advised they did not and I was making a complaint to the ICO she hung up. Block at all costs!!!

This number should belong to the First Target Recoveries (check more on http://www.firsttargetrecoveries.co.uk/) - a debt / loan company. They use this number as a green line - free-of-charge line for customers.

SCAM 01392433831 called me today approximately 11pm on my landline - I don't say anything when i answer and wait for the caller to speak first - but when I took the call it had a very noisy background like a call centre, but no discernible conversations then the caller hung up. This is a typical nuisance call - usually from overseas with heavily accented BT/O2/Vodafone/EE 'Technician' wanting to access my accounts etc. They always hangup if i don't say anything first.

Rang me on my mobile apparently I had been involved in a traffic accident!!! I told the lady, "I don't drive" (I do), she hung up. Ambulance chasers avoid and block number.

SCAM / SPAM Received a call from this number saying they were HMRC and I had to press 1 straight away or a warrant would be issued against me. Sounds legit! This is a scam do NOT press one, hang up immediately and go about your business

Received many calls from this number in one day. Each time we answer, silence. When returning the call it goes straight to playing music, no recorded voice or anything. Worried this may be a scam to get you to spend loads on calling them!

Fraud This guy rang me pretending to be my Santander Bank. He said there seems to be some fraudulant activity on my account and I should move all my money into the main account and then he would change all my account numbers and sort codes He sent messages from 08000 123 123 and he confirmed Santander will always use this number as it uses the 123 from their 123 account. Remember: Your bank will never ask you to move money!
