Probably not a call from Orpington - there was a clicking before a connection was made suggesting a spoof number. A south asian female voice asked for me by name. I said not me and asked who she was. The call was then immediately ended at her end. In my view this is highly likely to be a dangerous scam call.

BASC British Association Shooting & Conservation Genuine company, child-called this morning, i wasn't sure if they were looking for donations or trying to sell memberships, as i interrupted the caller very quickly when i realised it wasn't the call that i was waiting for. The caller was very polite, so i only hope that they have removed my number now.

This number sent me a message at 1am with just a link to tap onto. I didn’t tap the link and I blocked the number.
It was someone claiming to be my daughter saying she had lost her phone and to ring her back on the above number. Daughter was with me at the time she definitely hadn't lost her phone. So in my opinion it was a scam.

Fraud Claimed to be the 'legal department' of a Solicitors Firm. Thick indian accent that was not understandable and never gave any company name nor used my name at any time.

Spammed me with calls over a few days that I kept missing. When I picked up, they claimed to be from Steadman-Chase in London. I didn't really believe them and they tried to convince me to invest, along with trying to throw terms at me to sound smart. When they finally accepted that I wasn't interested, they abruptly hung up. Block this number!
strange unsolicited call from number belonging to: 'W A Read & Sons Ltd' Upon answer there was no reply and the phone put down. I called them several times over and got redirected to voicemail until they eventually gave up and answered. Lady picked up and I asked "What do you want"? No response and phone was put down. Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. Hope this helps.
