This number keeps harassing me. Rings me several times a day. Accident compensation. My minor accident was 16 months ago!

Received a call from them today claiming to be Standard Life informing me my work place pension has been frozen

Call center on behalf of who has paid them that day. This time it was regarding energy contracts.

Guy called "Jim"c asked for me and said he had 30 tickets reserved for my daughter (he used her name) @ 45euros for 5 Irish Lotto tickets. Claimed to be fromm Winners Lotto, gave the number (confirmed by 1471) and a website winner lotto.org. website exists but I wouldn t trust it.

This company is very aggressive and uses several tactics purporting to be an energy supplier or meter registration dept. They are energy consultants without qualms and trying to scare end users into agreeing a contract over the phone by saying that they are on extortionate out of contract rates, etc. Best way to deal with these people is to say you have signed a long-term contract and therefore not interested in their services. The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Just had a call from this number claiming to be from my mobile provider. Very aggressive manner, extremely pushy, didn t ask if I had time to speak to them. Wanted to know how many mobile phones were used in my home: tempted to say 126 to annoy him, but quite frankly its none of his business. I am the contract holder and he should have my account information o hand if he is actually working for EE or Orange!!! If these calls don t stop I shall change provider!

This is a new, and weird, one for me. Called my landline but disconnected when I picked up (now they know this is a live number,,,damn!!). No message left so I'll never know if I have been left millions of pounds from an unknown benefactor who needs me to handle his money, for a small fee, to help them evade paying local taxes or being claimed by a fictional Government department.
