Automated voice call saying my internet connection will be dissconected in 4 hours due to the router being faulty and I should contact my service provider for a replacement. Asked me to press button 1, which i did not do of course. Suspect if i did it would route to a fake call center.

This number has rung my elderly mother claiming that she has one £50,000 and all she needed to do was transfer £400 into an account. Instantly, we knew this was a fraud. Yet they were willing to send a taxi round to my disabled mother to take her to the bank to deposit this money. SCAM

Claims to be a company called UK Talks. Definitely suspicious if not scam or fraudulent. Website does not show numbers which call. The numbers they call from frequently change, the latest being this number. 01997 280702 is also one currently used by them. 01212 840668 used to be theirs but is now discontinued. The blighters rang me again with their wretched recorded message telling me it was not too late to claim. I was under pressure, about to send an urgent email. I want to see these people prosecuted. If I thought I was entitled to a p.p.i. refund I would claim it myself, not pay some parasitic firm to do it for me and get half the money. These people are dangerous. They catch out innocent people.
