Scam call about Amazon taken £300 out of bank account.

Received an email from PayPal this morning saying that a money request from someone called Johna Radcliffe for 899.99 GBP, with the message "suspicious activity found in your account 899.99 gbp has been debited called us immediately to report @ +44-800-368-9757. BE AWARE THAT THIS PHONE NUMBER IS COMMITTING FRAUD & ALSO USING PAYPAL TO DO IT!!!!!!!!

Robin called. Sounded foreign. Said he was calling from the call blocking and scam department. When I asked what company he was calling from he said "the national call blocking company limited" i said there was no such thing. Curious how this was 24 hours after "microsoft" called me and I told them I didn't believe them..... Told him the only legit call blocking was The Telephone Preference Service, and he hung up.

SCAM - An automated Voice claiming to be from Amazon & my Amazon Prime Account was going to be auto-renewed. After hearing this I immediately ended the call. I am now getting getting REALLY ANNOYED with the amount of SCAM calls I've been receiving lately (all from different numbers) & feel I need to try and let other people know about it. I felt the need to report this number in case any elderly or vulnerable or/and elderly become a victim from a call from this number. I hope it helps report

These are a scam outfit, call centre telling me that someone had ordered an iPhone 13 pro with my Amazon account, that my details had been leaked and they would put me through to Amazon to verify details, I haven’t even got an Amazon account. Beware this is a total scam!!!!

But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . I thought I deleted FB and re installed and no we I installed the installed the latest soft ware Amazon is not recognizing me .I have to re log in everywhere . It's a right pain. Caller said they were from BT and they detected suspicious activity on my router. I asked them if they were OK to have the conversation recorded - they hung up.

This number is based in Murmansk, Russia, and sent me a link. I'm sure it is a scam (at best) and at worst will skim all your data if you hit it. Delete, delete, delete!

I asked him how he offers me upgrade without knowing my current plan or even name. He couldn't answer what happened at school and why he couldn't find a better job rather than scamming people. the man asked if I have mould in the house and if there were any other issues. I said no, then he said ' l love you, do you love me?' so I hung up and he called again! He said, why did you hang up? So then I blocked the number.

Strongly suspect this is a scammer phone because (a) we don't believe EE employs phone sales people who cannot speak clearly in English, and (b) it's a new unsearched, unreported number, so unlikely to be EE.

SCAM This number appears to have been hacked by someone claiming to be selling advertising in a Fire Service journal.

Call from man with Indian accent - "your contract with Three is coming to an end". Me: "could you remind me of the number" - "the what?" - "the contract number" and he hung up. I think it's fair to say he was up to no good. And judging by the street view below, the number is likely spoofed as I can't see a boiler room operation going on in a highland village.
