Called me 6pm at night, it was an overseas accent (not from the UK) I hung up and searched online to find that other people had searched this number too. Reporting as annoying / cold calling

Asked me could they speak to me in relation to my business, asked what business and then they said could they speak to me in relation to my business, wouldn’t say as to why or who they were, blocked their call, absolute pain!
Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Do not call them back whoever it is - you will pay for it. Tell me why companies still use payed lines for telemarketing (some other reason than scam?)... Did someone answer any number of this range or this one? Maybe this is some good number, but left no message, no way I would call back...

I keep my phone on answer machine because of cold calls. The caller claimed to be from HMRC and said there was a law suit against me and to press 1 to contact my case officer. I suspected a scam and erased it.
