Because if you see the domain name of the email, it is clear that its not carphonewarehouse. Received calls from this number and 01156470868 within minutes of each other; neither produced an response from the caller when answered. Annoying! Blocked both for my sanity and peace from telemarketers, frauds and scammers. Hopefully the 'Cold-calling; legislation comes in soon!

I received a call from this number this morning. The caller had my name. When I asked who was calling, the man stated that it was Direct Claims Group regarding the minor accident I'd had. I replied that 'You must mean the minor accident that I haven't had!' and told him to get off the line. When I checked Companies House records, there were two companies called 'Direct Claims Group'. One was dissolved in 2018 and the other in 2019. So the call was definitely annoying and probably suspicious.

SCAM - didn't answer but called back and it rang then went straight to music. No doubt a number that charges for calls.
Called me while I was abroad. I rejected the call. Assuming it was O2 trying to sell me a new telephone contract, like the previous people reported, then it s quite shocking to think I would have had to pay O2 for the dubious privilege of receiving an unsolicited telephone call from them offering to sell me something. :-(

SCAM. I've had a text on my mobile, purporting to be from Iceland (Frozen food shop) saying that my 'order' is being delivered between 11am and 1pm. but that they've had to make changes, and I should check my emails to see details. Obviously, there is NOTHING in my emails. I have NOT made an order. I do not shop online. Minutes later, I received another text from them, with a different delivery time, and this time, a phone number. I'm not calling the number. I've never had any scams on my mobile before.
