I’ve just called O2 myself (202 is free from your O2 mobile) after becoming concerned about the level of my account information the person on the 0330 number had access to while offering me deal on an Alcatel tablet. The lovely lady I spoke to at O2 called the number herself and went through security checks which confirmed they are genuine, O2 authorised calls.

Just got a call from this number on our landline, saying it was from 'Solutions' and then 'Solutions Marketing' (when I pushed the lady further for information). They had my wifes name, the 1st line of our address (at least) and said that they wanted to 'save us money on our broadband/telephone'. They didn't know who our broadband provider is, so it looks a bit like a phishing exercise from a general database - perhaps on behalf of someone?
