I got a call this morning from a guy with an Asian accent saying he's from John lewis. He started saying he was going to ask me a security question and I told him I'll call John lewis myself. He quickly dropped the call.

Believe that this number could be associated with Bank Payment scams. I had an automated call from the bank stating that they has identified to suspicions payments against my account and would I confirm 'yes'; or 'no'. Man saying from amazon prime and my subscription for amazon prime is up for renewal. Noisy background like a call centre. Got very aggressive when I said I have not/never subscribed to amazon.

01482 293843 called me several times. I called back and got an automated message saying welcome to Vodafone all of our operators are busy right now please hold blah blah blah... I hung up. My broadband contract has just ended with Vodafone and I already renewed it with them on a social tariff. Maybe the call was connected to that. I saved the number to contacts so the name will come up if they call again and I'll answer it to find out. Like many I don't answer withheld numbers or numbers I don't recognise.
