(me or one of my sons) he said he would have to check with the insurance co and hung up. Things to note: None of the Mr ... on this number have had a car accident. Caller claimed to be able to send me a blocker to protect me from unwanted calls for fee of ?8.99 per month or an payment of ?80 for a year! I used my phone s in-built blocker by pressing the button on the keypad!
Caller hung up as soon as I absentmindedly answered - may have been genuine wrong number or part of targeting scam?

SCAM Some foreign (Indian as usual) scammer phoned and asked Mr (me by name) I answered yes and they said they were (English name, obviously made up and theirs for the day) and from Life Insurance. Then asked how I was doing and when I replied they just hung up. HOW RUDE! Pity really, as I pride myself on keeping them on the line as long as I can.

This is the same company "CA services" or "C A Services" that his mate calls from. They share the same phone scrambler which generates these random numbers....
Much like others I got a valuation on WhatCar and the next day received two calls from this caller. No message.
Fraud - Says I placed an order from Amazon for an Iphone 7 for £399 and if I did not place the order then I should press 1. I hung up. I did not place an order and can only imagine they are looking for bank details.

Call pretending to be HMRC threatening legal action unless one speaks to an agent by pressing the number one. I did not do that as I suspect that would then be charged at an exorbitant rate.
