Played a bunch of weird beeping noises, there was no human.

Scam! Supposedly from bank security / Amazon about a suspicious transaction involving £799.

Fraud Pretended to be from Amazon, said there was a hacker in my system and wanted to have access to it to help sort it out. Refused, got aggressive when I said if he was from Amazon he should send an email to me from the email address held by Amazon.

Automated robotic message claiming to be from HMRC saying you owe tax. Asks you to press a number to pay. Scam. Avoid.

SCAM - "NC Power" claiming to be our provider (Gazprom) trying to confirm information as next month's billing will be wrong. Same woman called last month from a different number (029 218 2591) asking the exact same thing for the previous month's billing. Pointed out that I'd personally called Gazprom about something else (in the last two days!) and mentioned these calls and that our accounts are actually fine and she hung up?!

Phoned at 7.15 a.m. claiming to be from Amazon, regarding £49 taken from my account. I asked what information she had about me... She disconnected.

TAXES / HMRC - Texted me this “ GOV-UK: Due to an overpayment of tax, you are eligible for a tax refund. To claim, please visit: https://tax-calculation-register.com/”. I knew it was an imposter because I instantly saw a +44 number . Be careful .

Claimed to be from AMAZON PRIME stating that my credit card had been debited with the sum of £95 for my Prime subscription…n!!! If I have a problem with this PRESS 1 .. Needless to say I pressed nothing !! I know for a fact mine doesn’t expire until the 2nd September, 2023. They are trying to get you to panic .. Ignore and press nothing !!!!!

Strong foreign asking for me by my first name. Wanting to know if I was a housing association/council tenant and discuss paying for costs of repairs/damages. Very difficult to understand. Not at all relevant to me and I believe it was a scam.

Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. Also, I just tried phoning the number back and it doesn't even exist - so somehow the scammer is making out that they are phoning from a local number to look more legit.
