This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked

I believe they re trying to find numbers which are "live" so they can sell them on to telemarketers and other unscrupulous types. Grotty little businesses. The best way of doing that is calling and then seeing which phones get answered. If a phone is answered then it must be "live" so they hang up and that number is sold on to a 3rd party. Then if you own the number and you answered you get even more nuisance calls.

Got called in Ireland from this number. Cancelled my Sky TV subscription because of the sheer amount of crap on it, repeats of stuff that has been repeatedly repeated on a repeating basis. Usual shite that I saw years ago is still being repeated and programmes from last week repeated again the following week or even the next night. Rubbish. Another call saying I’ve requested info re online trading. I HAVENT! Have asked over 19 times to be removed from database. Even told them they have breached GDPR and face a fine.
