They rang our landline and asked to speak to the BT broadband account holder. I said I was the broadband user and then they put the phone down on me. So I have blocked the number.

This is the number that calls regarding ESA claims and is 100% legitimate. Not answering this call may cause loss of benefits. Always answer the calls, they love to cut benefits for any reason they can think of.

This number keeps ringing me - my boyfriend answered it once (after many calls i refused to answer) and it was a man asking for another womans name. my boyfriend said he had the wrong number and it was left at that. However i have since had more calls from this number. I am very reluctant to answer it and i wish it would stop calling!

Caller hung up as soon as phone was answered. Suspect (but do not know for sure) that this is a data company trying to validate my data.

Persistent even if you dial 9 at the end of the message to unsubscribe. Thinks it can get around the TPS laws by pretending to be information service. Just touting to sell rubbish boilers and rip of the government for grant money. NEVER deal with these types.

this caller keeps on calling - seems to be on a daily basis and mainly when I am work - so not interest in the Postcode Lottery no matter how many times they call - hope they get the message (eventually) - getting annoyed with persistence now!

This is a number used by scammers trying to access your computer by telling you that it is infected, they guide you to view the syslog and look at the really bad infections. Then if you are daft enough they get you to open a command prompt window and log onto their website - result yhey have your computer and bye bye to lots of money
