Seems this number is operated in either of 2 ways - 1) they call you and know who you are, so they have your details from some organisation you've already contacted - 2) yo...

Why OFCOM don t do nothing about it?so this kind of nuisance calls to stop?I fed up from numbers like that I think I m going to change my number.

Happened to me on Friday. Said I was a student and had no money and walked off... he even spoke the same language as me which was shocking and made him so believable...

Left a text message on my mobile phone claiming they want me to give them my number so they can ring me back regarding a personal accident claim and how much I am entitled to. Except I don t have a personal accident claim. Obviously some kind of phishing text.

Vanquis are an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE I paid today yet they are still ringing me numerous times ( i made a promise to pay two weeks ago), they call about ten times a day from different numbers!! Drives me insane. Sooner its paid off the bloody better. Trucaller blocks their calls automatically now

automated american accent wanted a press 1, to check out an amazon problem of course we know its a nuisance scam,,no one should press 1 !!!

Asked for catalogue which successfully received. However have received numerous calls since (quite aggressive) despite stating that if interested I would contact them.

This number is being used by people who purport to have spoken to you and insist that you have participated in an advertising campaign on this occasion it was to do with police and schools. Completely untrue so please beware. When quizzed they put the phone down

I was continuously rang by an Asian sounding male, calling himself "Sean smith" and claiming to be from the citizens advice beuro. I basically called him a liar, and asked him to take my number off of his system. He refused, and continued to call me numerous times, some withholding number, some not. Some calls I answered, but didn t talk, carried on like normal, some calls I let ring out. Do not trust whoever it is.
