Called today @ 13:05 hrs. I have a call blocker on my landline set to 'announce'. This seems to work for all of these low life scammers. They do not introduce themselves to be put through. Telephone does not even ring. My suggestion is to get 'Call Guardian'
They are pretending to be from HRMC and say that there is a warrant out for your arrest, as you haven't paid tax for 2 years, then ask you for National insurance number and bank details.

I was called from this number allegedly 'Virgin media' did not trust the caller so dialed it back to find out it was a residential number whose number had been scammed. On calling Virgin and my bank fortunately they never got anything. Just hang up and block number.
This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.
This is a scam. Pretending to be from your bank and talking about problems with your debit card and asking you to press 1 for more information.

Caller addressed me by my first name but that was all I could understand, the noise going on in the background (His) drowned out everything else he was saying. Keep getting calls from numbers which start with 01273901924 upto 1937, these are scam calls and they change the last two numbers all the time but its the same scammers and i just let the phone ring as i have a long list of scam calls and i can only block 50 on my phone.
