Twice when I picked up the phone the line went dead. The third time, a lady said something which included the words "Tax refund" but, despite asking her to repeat herself several times, I could not make out anything else she said as she had a very strong foreign accent. So I blocked the number.

They did say I needed to make a payment and to answer emails. Prerecorded message alleging to be from a bank - 2 transactions were highlighted as 1. a payment of £300 to Amazon and 2. a payment exceeding £1000 to an overseas destination. Options were offered which were ignored and the call was terminated by the recipient. An effort was made to call the number from both landline and mobile where an answer was given “it has not been possible to connect your call” and “the number you have dialled is incorrect”, respectively. These people should be sent to Siberia.

Seems like an Indian call centre, have had a few missed calls from several number over the passed few days which I have blocked. They left a 20 second voicemail by mistake with them talking in Indian and laughing before realising that she was on voicemail and hung up. No company name offered, wouldn’t trust regardless.
