Much like the other reviews, my 83 year old Grandmother was called and told the warranty on her boiler had run out and that they needed to take payment to renew it. No explanation of who they were etc. Reported it as fraud to her bank but also called to cancel policy and ask for full refund. Worried now that this may not be honoured after reading other posts. Awful, underhand, dishonest sales tactics. Bet they re laughing all the way to the bank.

Google lists this number as a Letchworth based charity / school however it is in fact one of the many Vanquis numbers in use by them / their debt collection agency. Chasing me for £2.70 due to me transposing two numbers on my last payment :0D

This number called me a lot during the last two weeks. Never picked up. Anybody got an idea what it is?

Note we have TPS but this number called. We answered to a foreign woman. Couldn't understand a word, although the word Survey was apparent. Politely rejected call.

I answered, there was a pause, then a robotic "Hello?" I hung up, they haven t bothered trying my number again yet after 5 mins.

To the guy who gave a positive review: cold calling private numbers is a major problem. Even If you did get a good deal on your insurance, these people have no right to be calling people randomly and trying to sell. It s an invasion of privacy, full stop.

I need to know if these people are scammers I I answered the phone and the lady called and said that it is regarding an insurance taken out on a television Three years ago.

CVD, pain in the backside wanting me to renew my van insurance, these calls every hour or so plus calls and texts to my mobile and also emails. Considering they have already quoted me their best price that is double what i have found on comparison sites, i dont think they will be getting my business anymore! harassing calls.

Irrelevant whether you give your number out, as these people just use auto diallers, which take no account of ex directory, TPS etc status.

I only looked on site out of interest and signed up to see what the cost of a subscription was. Too expensive for me so haven t followed through. i did not request any kind of call back so am not pleased they feel the need to call me.

Well, after a couple of days of peace and quiet from this number.. they ve started again, with a VENGEANCE! I have reported them to EVERYONE they can be reported too, and now, im on plan B! FYI if you re on "talktalk" you can set up "last caller barring" which allows you to block up to 10 numbers from ringing you :) and its FREE!! im in the process of setting this up now, and hopefully it will stop all this nonsense! HTH B..

Saying they were HMRC and to press opt 1. HMRC do not call you.

Possibly a wrong number but they should have said so and not just hang up, very rude!

Now using 0161 850 1033 same story,they and others pressurisng my wife to make a claim following a minor car accident 2 years ago. I grabbed the phone and told them to drop it I would be taking action. Reported to ICO.org.uk and blocked the number. My business suffered through fraudulent claims and people need to make a stand against these parasites

you dont need a TV licence if you dont watch live TV (main 5 channels as they re being aired) - stop watching these and watch catch up or plus one... this organisation is disgusting and its got to stop...cancel your payments now and stop answering their calls - nowt they can do ... but they will still call you just ignore them or put phone down - look at moneysupermarket.co.uk for more advice - DONT BE BULLIED BY THESE IDIOTS
