Answered the call on my mobile, as soon as I said hello they hung up.

Answered this but left a delay before saying 'hello' and they rang off. Assume that it's a spam number using an automated dialling gadget.

Got a call around 16:30 - sounded like a call centre - gent with a strong Indian accent said he was calljng from Ringwood Council in Hampshire - I live in Dorset! Said something about an accident in the last two years - scam call - I hung up

I recieve calls on a daily basis from this number regarding payment protection insurance. seems to be automated since the previous call come from a different 0844 number. Odd.

This number called me three times on 3/2/2016 in the space of half an hour and again today (4/2/2016). I have a watch that notifies me of any calls coming through and the number which is annoying, especially when I cannot access my phone at work. I assume since it is local that it would have been for a business of some kind. No messages were left which leads me to believe that this is a cold call. Asian sounding guy, rabbiting at speed about who I was and telling me my details, barely caught a word, then says BT will call to save me money on my Telephone and Broadband, then hung up immediately, never asked was I interested in any possible savings, not even the basic pleasantries of asking how I was etc... Just quick fire rabbit rabbit rabbit, BT will call me, click, all I can say is, if this was anything to do with BT, they are now less likely to be getting my business than they were before.
