It’s a scam, claimed to be from a bank and not enough funds in bank to complete transactions. Very bad line and eventually the caller hung up, daughter rang number back and it’s not recognised.

Automated call on 17th June 2022 saying from Scottish Gas. Can't remember what else it said but it said to Press 1. The minute I heard that I put the phone down. I am not with Scottish Gas anyway so presumed this is a scam call.
This call was made from an extremely noisy office, where the background noise was so loud that I had real trouble hearing the person on the line. They offered to call back - and did so, but about an hour later. They said they were calling from my phone company about an upgrade, but when I asked them to confirm which phone company, the caller got very annoyed (raised voice) and defensive - and most importantly, couldn't tell me which phone provider asked them to call.

They pretended they were from Amazon re my order, I asked for what and it was for, apparently an iPhone £799.00, I said really and they hung up immediately!
** Scam call ** Automated voice pretending to be from VISA (?) calling about cancelling a possible online shopping fraud transaction - "press 1 immediately if you want to cancel the payment".
Also getting calls from same number but ending 352. Left to answerphone, no message. Other, similar, numbers from this area code are reported as insulation scams, so that is a possibility.

This is Waste Managed Ltd, also called Cheaperwaste Ltd. Avoid as you will regret a contract with them! There is a Facebook group Cheaperwaste Wastemanaged Unhappy Customers if you had trouble with them. Find a different bin company!
SCAM supposed to be from the government saying I need to claim my £400 fuels discount but I already have it. This is the third different number with the same scam.

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. SCAM. I received a recorded phone msg from 02089876951 It was a woman who spoke very fast saying my visa card had been used for two large amounts of money this morning. I tried to find the above number, which wasn't found. If it had been my bank or building society, I would have been able to who called me. I think it's a 100% scam.
