Caller claimed to be from "my network" - his accent was difficult to understand, so I failed to hear what the network was. I terminated the call and blocked the number. Clearly a scam!
I suspect (hence 2 stars) this is a scam call with an automated voice saying her majesty's revenue... (something like that), I did not get to this call in time, but 1 hour later I had the scam I suspect this may be associated, so use caution until someone can say for sure what this

In the UK, 09 numbers are charged at premium rate and used mainly for competitions and phone-ins.
Caller asked if I was (my real name) and when I confirmed it was, he said he was Craig from ( I did not catch the name of the company) and then he terminated the call.

Sounds like the same as everyone else. Apparently, there s a warrant for our arrest. The start of the message was cut off so it s not clear what I m going to be arrested for, but considering the number he wants me to call isn t one from HMRC I doubt it s genuine.

I called this number back and they said it was vodafone. He wanted to chat about my contract but got disconnected. I contacted vodafone to check if this number was them and they confirmed that it was a courtesy call from them, so it seemed to be genuine.
