My phone flagged this as Suspected Spam, so I didn't answer. I don't know anybody in this part of the country and it's the second unknown call from a mobile number in that area in a fortnight. Blocked.
I did not speak on the phone and they hung up usually when a legit persons phones me they say who they are this person did not speak

Phoned me at lunchtime. I rang back to find a voice message greeting the caller saying this number had been allocated.
I got a text from this number, saying it was UNICEF and asking if I would donate £10. I was going to do it but I checked my phone and I already had a number for UNICEF saved,which was different. It might be legit I don't know
Asian Man, with very strong Asian accent (could not understand a word). He sounded like reading from a scrip (slightly hurried pace and no pauses) Very most likely a scam.
This is one of numerous calls regarding so called “domestic appliance cover”. Callers have been told to take my number off list but have not done so. Incidentally, I don’t have appliance cover and don’t want it !

Indian voice claiming to be from BT offering to fix my slow internet for free. I played him a along for a while. He then rang off when I asked him if he was going to install Teamviewer and empty my bank account. Dangerous scam. Beware.

An Indian sounding lady called to say I owed money on a three sim only contract with them. She claimed I had started a new contract with them in May. This was untrue as I had transferred my contract to Smarty when my contract had ended with them in June. Conversation got quite heated and I asked to speak to a manager. Caller said he was Virgin Media Technical Department and believed I was having trouble with my internet speed. He wanted me to do a speed test but when I said that I couldn't do that he disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never phoned me in the past. As far as I'm aware, Virgin never phone customers when there's any problem so I'm rating this call as dangerous.
