I did not answer this call but on checking origin it came from Russia, Kalmytskija region. I do not know anyone in Russia and would say this was diff a potential spam or phishing scam.

Robotic voice informing me the call wall from Revenue and Customs, and that a fraud case had been opened against me. I was told to press '1' immediately - or a warrant would be issued for my arrest. I hung up immediately.
I receive calls from this number on my mobile, home phone and work phone, they purport to be from Lloyds Bank, they ask for your date of birth and postcode, I ask them who they are, and what it is about, they say it is a personnel banking matter, I ask them to tell me more in general terms, they tell me to contact my bank, i tell them I have, I then ask them to stop calling me and remove me from their data base and to write instead . Voice Recording: "Her Majesty Revenue and Customs, this call is to inform me that there is a tax fraud case registered under your name. You have to press 1 to connected to the office of the HMRC, If in case you don't press 1 and your call is not connected to us then a warrant will be issued under your name straight away and you will get arrested shortly."

A silent call from one of a block of numbers. As fast as one number is blocked another is used. So far 10 different numbers from the block ranging from numbers ending 763 to 776. Regularly getting 2 or 3 a day. If they are from 3 network then Ofcom need to investigate
