Calls from this number (and those ending with a few digits different) regularly received on office and home line. In all cases caller fails to leave message. If a return call is attempted the message is "number not recognised". A typical automated call centre - probably insulation scam or similar.

Scan call saying that they were from my bank and that over £300 had been taken out of my account to pay Amazon. I immediately, put the phone down and checked my balance. This was alot of rubbish. Advice ignore or report but do not respond or do anything else.
Call received from a male with an Indian accent stating he was calling from Aviva, but his English was very bad and I said I couldn't understand him and asked for someone else to ring me if important. So far no response. There was a lot of chatter in the background and he didn't speak immediately when I answered the call.

Then get a text saying sorry to bother you I got a few numbers the wrong way around. Possibly someone doing research to see if the number is active to put it on scam site. BASC British Association Shooting & Conservation Genuine company, child-called this morning, i wasn't sure if they were looking for donations or trying to sell memberships, as i interrupted the caller very quickly when i realised it wasn't the call that i was waiting for. The caller was very polite, so i only hope that they have removed my number now.

Silent call - "Hello", then silence when asked who was calling....then phone put down. Unanswered call earlier, so they could be persistent in tracking live no's - for whatever their purpose. Did sound briefly like a live human, not a recording. No human interaction though - just the harrassment.
Man calling about a medical pendant. May have been harmless but he was very evasive when I asked where he got my phone number (we're not on any lists and don't get cold-called much). He seemed to be reading from a script and looking up the answers, as there were long gaps between my asking a question and his reply. I told him I was going to hang up and did so.

This is a genuine NHS number. They use it to call patients to cancel/alter appointments mostly. They cannot leave messages on answerphones because of confidentiality issues.
