I am 73 years of age & I stupidly applied for a loan now I am called daily by different people. If you see this number on your phone 02080773334 do not answer your phone. They scammed me out of ?300 & left me penniless over Christmas, they asked for another ?300 I said forget the loan put my ?300 back into my account they were very rude & said I couldn t have my money back.
Actually sounded very plausible. Knew my name and address. Said that my washing machine cover had run out. Couldn't remember when I bought it but didn't think that it was over a year and thought I had 5 year manu's warranty (checked afterwards & correct on both counts). Company was APS or something. She was well spoken, no accent. But she was never going to hook me as she said it would cost £60 a year & she had reduced that from £99!! Came up international (didn't spot that) but 1471 gave th

Asked if I was a council house tenant If I have any cracked walls... which I coincidentally do but I don't confirm...I Kept Pressing Him: How They Have Number and Name (if only in part). He remainded polite and calm but still keen to get more information, WITHOUT giving HIS organisation's details.
these people phone at least twice a day (sometimes more) and ask for 'mr firkin'. ive asked for my number to be taken off there list but the calls keep coming.

Lady with an accent, slightly Irish?, called asking to speak to Mr. Harrison. When I asked which Mr. Harrison, I have two sons, she said Linda. I advised that she had asked to speak to Mr and now wanted to speak to a lady and she got shirty and tried to be assertive. I asked who was calling and she put her hand over the phone and gave only a surname, Williams. I asked her to repeat the whole name and she hung up. Yes, we are TPS as well. Why can t this lot do something?

SCAM - Said they were from BT Open Reach. Told them I was with Virgin which she then spoke over me and told me they were picking up problems from my router. I told them I'm a software engineer and they hung up.
