Received a call from this number a few minutes ago. They asked for me by my real name which i never use. Said they were calling from talk talk about upgrading my package. I told the girl i don t have a package with them, and she quickly replied that she was calling from Thomson Local. I enqired "Thompson Local?" To which she answered that she will call me back. I was called by number 090432929, not 09043967, and this number is from Great Britain? I don't know anybody from Great Britain! We keep getting calls from strangers who most likely just want to sell us something, but I don't even pick up the phone anymore when we receive such calls and the number is not from my hometown. For that reason I once again don't know who exactly called us this time, but it's annoying!

i just received a call off this number telling me they had money set aside for a car accident i had been in, ive never had or being involved in a car accident ever and when i told him this the guy became aggressive and started sarcastically saying i must be a safe driver! and that it must be someone on my policy or if ive been a passenger, he didnt have a clue and was just rude, do not answer this call!

There isn t a UK prefix 0111 so the number is fake. Rule of thumb, if the number isn t genuine, neither is the reason for the call.

First Call Group pain in the backside just ignore.
SCAM 01772 (Preston Area) 791710 called at 11.15am, recorded message saying "card provider alerting unusual payments to Amazon & Universal Credit Transfer, Press 1 to accept / 2 to decline" But didn't say which card provider and didn't say how much the transactions were. Hung up and rung number back to get message "you have dialled a incorrect number". 99% certain this is a scam. None of my cards have this area code for card enquiries .

Asked for help and paid money for tutoring but got nothing back. Had a call on the day asking for more money and then threatened me with going to my university. I have contacted the fraud and police depts and have emailed him to tell him so! If anybody is blackmailed by him..ignore it...he is unable to do anything as it will only incriminate him further. The more people who report this evil fraud the better. Has anybody been actually able to get any money back from him? Can you contact his bank??

In this case the email purported to be from HSBC informing me of a payment made on my card today. It had a helpful link to a site called cancel.banking-process, which funnily enough i did not click.

Despite registration with the TPS, I had two cold calls about an alleged car accident in which I was involved but I do not own a car and certainly was not involved in an accident on the date claimed. The caller claimed to be from a company called Solicitors Law Firm and to have got details of my alleged accident from the UK National Traffic Department but as far as I can ascertain neither organisation exists. They witheld their phone number but claimed to be calling from 01527 821239.
