Getting a lot of calls from Scottish numbers that put the phone down after 2 seconds

Several seconds after I answered the call, a man, with Indian accent, told me he was calling from British Telecom about my phone connection. Told him we weren't their customers & I didn't believe him before hanging up on him.
Fraud Caller claimed to have my dog when I clearly don't have a dog. Said that my number was on its collar.

SCAM - Caller claimed to be from BT Openreach and said that every minute I was on the call, money was disappearing from my bank account... At which point I terminated the call.
At first I thought they were a legit company regarding my adverts already on the web. They then transferred me to someone else and he was very aggressively trying to get me to pay to promote my business. Eventually I said that I wasn t going to pay but he kept on. I hung up.

Asked for me by name. I asked who was calling. He said it was in response to my putting my name down for more information and asked me what kind of investing I was looking to do. Had this number call me everyday. It s an automated machine call. I am going to email the company and tell them I will be charging them ?6 per call I receive plus another ?6 per minute duration of the call. And ?10 per letter / email I have to send them after.

Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!
