i have received this call twice now and deleted it how do i block this number on my mobile

Rang off when answered. Had been preceded by an "International" call.
nConsider this one of a series of recent fraud call attempts.

Several calls and they hang up. Some spoke today, lot of noise in the background and I asked him to repeat something twice, he shouted at me "Are you deaf" and hung up.

Started by stating as if fact they were calling in relation to a traffic accident I had, when queried they widened it to in the last 5 years. Alarm bells went off, I said I had but no injuries claim closed and they then tried to push on that and I said bye and closed call. Sharks...

Received a call from very polite lady tells me she s from a company called hyc and I am entitled to a refund about PPI.I just let her waffle on about her shit until she says hello can you hear me sir.I say yes can you hear me sir I say yes.she carries on waffling and ask who are your finances with.I Dont answer.she says hello,I say hello,she asks can you hear me darling,I say yes .she asks again about finances and tells me a list of banks giving refunds asks who do you bank with, I Dont answer,she says hell

A Hitchin number. Called left no essage, assume a nuisance call.

The number is spoofed by the scammers and the call is not from within the UK.

I have had over 70 calls to my works mobile in the space of 2 weeks about a car accident all from different area codes. However, I have just had a call on my personal number, which has never been given out. Do these muppets never give up!!!

My elderly aunt keeps getting calls from this number but no-one is there when she answers. It is causing her distress.

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Constant calls from this number but no voicemail being left. After researching the internet, this is a prolific call centre claiming to be Orange offering mobile phone contracts. Orange/EE have no connection to this company!!

9 calls in 2 weeks even with the number logged on the call blocker and they still get through with this irritating massage about a supposed SMS message which can’t be recovered. Whoever this is needs shooting ! I eventually called BT and asked them to block the number from ever reaching me.
