Automated/Silent call. One of a series of calls from mobile numbers starting 077 in the space of a few days. Answered first call, where automated voice said, Your Amazon Prime membership has just been renewed at a cost of £79.99. If you want to cancel this payment, press 1. I'd cancelled my Amazon Prime membership ages ago! After the first call, screened next few calls to answer machine where no message was left, just silence. Wish these low life scum would f**k off and die!!

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. I received a call from this number today with a message that my master card had been used abroad for a £600 purchase. I was asked to press one to confirm payment. I terminated the call and phoned the number back to be told that the number did not exist. The person was female with a very clear voice and English accent.

Fraud SMS from 07723630445 at 16:48 Wednesday 7 April 2021 giving text G- [7 digit number] is your Google verification code. Not sure why this came up as it's not from any valid Google authentication service - maybe they are just testing to see if there is a valid phone number?

SCAM - the 3rd such similar text in as many days from different numbers. All had a link to a website that no doubt requests your bank details. In this case the email purported to be from HSBC informing me of a payment made on my card today. It had a helpful link to a site called cancel.banking-process, which funnily enough i did not click.
