This number called today at 13.01 asking to speak to Mrs Sarah McSherry. Informed her she had died twelve years ago. She apologised and I asked her to remove phone number from their list and she hung up. Number now blocked.
SCAM / SPAM A man rang my landline and asked if I'd had trouble with my Sky broadband connection. I told him I hadn't, but that didn't put him off! He asked me to go to the router and tell him what colour the lights were. I told him I'd noticed he didn't say my name when I answered the phone, so said I suspect he's not from Sky. I answered and there is a delay for 2 seconds before the automated message starts telling you to urgently press option 5 to claim your PPI. I hung up, there was no way I was pressing option 5 and probably getting charge ?1,000 a minute!!
